We’re ecstatic to share that, as of October 22, 2025, Team Fly Girls has achieved 501(c)(3) non-profit status! Our passionate five-woman team—comprised of skilled sailors, FAA-certified parachute riggers, and skydiving world record holders—is dedicated to inspiring girls and women to embrace adventure through sailing and skydiving.
In 2026, we’ll take on the challenging Inside Passage in the Race to Alaska, navigating our 1982 Hobie 33 monohull, Fast Forward, through the demanding waters from Port Townsend, WA, to Ketchikan, AK. Any profits or proceeds from sponsors and donations that exceed our operational needs will support charities promoting sailing and skydiving initiatives, furthering our mission to empower fearless exploration.
Team Fly Girls is dedicated to empowering women and girls to build confidence, resilience, and leadership through adventure sports, particularly sailing and skydiving.
The corporation supports nonprofit partners, including those delivering education and training, fostering technical skills in areas like navigation, meteorology, and aerodynamics to master tides, currents, winds, and optimal course planning. By funding programs, hosting competitive events, and building an inclusive community, the corporation promotes excellence and safety in extreme sports.
We want to thank our incredible sponsors and donors—your support fuels this journey!
